Haunting performances with Lingnan characteristics and the perfect blending of modernity and tradition made the show a visual feast for distinguished guests from around the globe, making them fall in love with the unique Chinese and Lingnan culture.

The audio-visual feast was kicked off by the "Spring Rain in the Landscape", an ensemble of Chinese Lute, Moon Guitar, Chinese Vertical Bamboo Flute, and Chinese Zither.In the dance drama "Islet in the Stream", the actors seemed to have traveled through time from the Book of Songs, while the Cantonese opera "Nan Yue Hua Cai" held the audience spellbound, prompting many to record the exquisite performance with their cell phones or cameras.

4月19日晚，“读懂中国·湾区对话”专题论坛文化展演活动在广州塔举行，极具岭南特色、现代与传统完美相融的精彩节目轮番上演，中外嘉宾共同感受中华文化、岭南文化之美。

伴着琵琶、阮、箫、古筝的和鸣，女子弹拨乐音画《山水春雨图》拉开了演出序幕；舞蹈《在河之洲》中，演员仿佛穿越了时光从《诗经》中款款走来；粤剧《南粤华彩》的唱段更是吸引了中外嘉宾的目光，在场观众纷纷用手机或相机记录下这精妙绝伦的演出。
