揭阳惠来：海上春耕忙，鲍鱼养殖兴

When spring arrives, everything comes back to life, and the fields are filled with the seeds of hope. At the Huashen Aquaculture Base of Huilai County, we have recently seen that black aquaculture boards are neatly distributed in the aquaculture pool, where seawater is continuously flowing into. Abalone fry that do not like light are creeping slowly under the boards.

Picking up the boards, we can see that emerald-green abalone fry have grown to 2-3 centimeters. In recent years, through continuous improvement of technology, the base developed the latest abalone varieties, also known as "green abalone". Compared with the traditional abalone, this new variety has the advantages such as a high survival rate, high yield, and good quality. The mature abalone will be sold to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other places across the country.

Huilai County's abalone aquaculture has a history of more than 30 years. The county has over 170 abalone farms and 1.28 million cubic meters of aquaculture water. It has an annual output of more than 2000 tons of mature abalone and 4 billion abalone fry, whose output value is about 1.5 billion yuan. This is the largest abalone production base in Guangdong Province. Its production accounts for 90% of the whole province.

春回大地，万物复苏，希望的种子撒遍田间地头。日前，我们在惠来县华深水产养殖基地见到，养殖池内整齐分布着黑色养殖板，从海上引入的海水源源不断地流入池中，不喜光线的鲍鱼种苗正在养殖板下缓慢蠕动。

拿起养殖板，可见翠绿色的鲍鱼种苗已长到2-3厘米。近年来，该基地通过不断改良技术，研发出最新的黄金鲍品种，又称“绿盘鲍”，相比传统的皱纹盘鲍，这种品种具有成活率高、产量高、品质好等优势，成品鲍鱼将销往广州、深圳等地。

惠来县鲍鱼养殖已有30多年历史，全县现有鲍鱼养殖场170多家，养殖水体128万立方米，年产成品鲍鱼2000多吨，鲍苗40多亿粒，产值约15亿元，是广东省最大的生产基地，鲍苗产量占全省90%，是国内重要的鲍苗生产基地。
